This hotel was built in 1867 and was 1 of 122 hotels in Thames, most are gone now but the Brian Boru still stands, and is a hopping place. We stayed here as we were unable to find anyplace to stay on a Saturday night...there was a fishing derby on in the area and the weather had been nice for several days and the locals were at the beach.
We slept well and got an early start the next morning
